i'm happy to report that Kaltura has launched, allowing groups of users for the first time to do with video, audio, and animation what wiki platforms enable them to do with text. check it out at: http://www.kaltura.com
I'm even happier to report that we're seeing early signs of success already. competing against 99 other companies, we have won the TC40 people's choice award on our first day out, and we're getting lot's of coverage. http://www.kaltura.com/index.php/static/news and see our press release below.

I encourage you to sign up for kaltura, if you have not done so already, produce a few collaborative group videos, invite your friends to upload clips, remix it all up, and share it with the world. it's fun and free, and it's really the next step in user-generated-content. we're also always looking for cool ideas, and for partnerships with individuals and companies that can make innovative use of our platform. if you have some ideas, send them my way.
